Aberdeen's Festive Christmas Market Benefiting Charlie House ‘Curated in the Quad’ is set to return for 2023, with stallholder applications open now!
The festive spirit is set to shine brighter than ever in Aberdeen's historic Marischal College's Quadrangle as 'Curated in the Quad' returns for six weeks for another sparkling Christmas market. Organised by Charlie House in partnership with Aberdeen Inspired, the Christmas Market will run from Friday, November 17 to Saturday, December 23.
Curated in the Quad will transform the stunning Marischal College Quadrangle into a bustling and enchanting market space for six weekends on the busy lead up to Christmas. The event will feature a unique lineup of talented local producers, including food, drink, art, crafts, clothing, homeware, gifts, and jewellery - offering visitors the chance to discover truly unique and heartwarming Christmas presents.
Local producers of all kinds are open to apply to set up festive wooden cabins in the Marischal College Quad to bring their goods to a market. The market will run from Friday, November 17, until Saturday, December 23, creating a magical atmosphere that attracts thousands of visitors into the city center.
John Brebner, CEO of Charlie House, said: "It is just fantastic that Charlie House is once again the chosen charity for Curated in the Quad at Marischal College. It is such a special Christmas market, somewhere people can pick up truly unique gifts made by talented local producers.
"That spirit of giving will last long after December 25, thanks to the funds raised allowing us to support families across the north-east of Scotland throughout the year. We can’t thank enough the thousands of people who choose to support Curated in the Quad and Charlie House."
Last year's event raised an incredible £22,000 for Charlie House, making a significant difference in the lives of many. This year, Curated in the Quad aims to surpass that amount and continue and raise those vital funds and support children and families in the north-east of Scotland this Christmas.
Curated in the Quad will be open on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays each weekend, excluding Christmas Eve Sunday. Local traders interested in participating are encouraged to apply by October 15, 2023, by emailing curated@charliehouse.org.uk. Stall applications are priced at £180, including VAT for the weekend.
