The mission begins for Charlie House supporters as the charity’s much-anticipated Big Charlie House Ball Silent Auction, sponsored by MDL, officially opens for bids.
Returning this year with a Licence to Thrill, the Bond-themed ball and auction promise glamour, excitement and plenty of opportunities to take home top prizes while supporting a local cause.
Guests attending the Big Charlie House Ball at P&J Live on Friday 007 November will enjoy a night of mystery and sophistication, complete with a drinks reception, three-course meal, themed entertainment, and a showstopping performance from party band favourites MADHEN.
But the excitement isn’t limited to those attending the ball. The silent auction is open to everyone, giving supporters across the North-east and beyond the chance to join the mission and help raise funds for local children and families.
Among the prizes fit for a secret agent are a 12-month range membership at the Paul Lawrie Golf Centre, a VIP Tour for eight at M-Sport Ford World Rally Championship, and an off-road Land Rover driving adventure.

Those looking for something more relaxed can unwind with an overnight stay at DoubleTree by Hilton Dunblane Hydro, or enjoy corporate hospitality for four at Cove Rangers FC. With starting bids from just £10, the auction offers everything from high-octane experiences to laid-back luxury.

Ollie Middleton, Fundraising Team Lead at Charlie House, said:
“This year’s silent auction is packed with incredible prizes that bring the Bond theme to life. Whether you’re attending the ball or bidding from home, every contribution helps us continue supporting children and families across the North-east who rely on our services. It’s a mission everyone can be part of.”
Supported by long-term sponsor Brimmond, the Big Charlie House Ball is one of the highlights of our fundraising calendar. The evening provides the perfect setting to bond with colleagues, clients and friends, with the sole aim of raising funds to support local children with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions.
All funds raised on the night, including from the silent auction, will help Charlie House continue providing vital support and activities for the growing number of families who depend on our services across the North-east of Scotland.
The silent auction is now live at uk.givergy.com/CharlieHouseBall2025, with bidding closing at 11.00 pm on Friday, 7 November.
