The Big Bounce is BACK this 7 to 10 of August 2025 at Aberdeen's Union Terrace Gardens! Join us for four days of inflatable family fun with bouncy castles, games, face painting, local traders and much, much more!

Single tickets let you enjoy individual inflatables and activities at your own pace.
All-Day Bounce Wristbands are perfect for the non-stop adventurers – giving you unlimited access to all our inflatables, plus 10 bonus tickets to spend on other exciting activities! You’ll also get 10% off hot and soft drinks at Common Sense Coffee Bar, just across from His Majesty’s Theatre.
And when you’ve worked up an appetite, tuck into tasty treats and cool refreshments from our fantastic food and drink vendors, available across the gardens.

Situated within the grounds of Union Terrace Gardens, Rosemount Viaduct, Aberdeen, this year's Big Bounce is accessible within walking distance of the bus and train stations, the majority of bus routes into the city centre, and many car parks and parking spaces.
Designated on-street Blue Badge Parking can be found on Union Terrace. Please refer to the on-street parking signs for information on parking restrictions.

This dedicated Relaxed Session is designed for families who may benefit from a calmer environment, including those with sensory sensitivities or additional support needs. During this session, adjustments will be made to create a more comfortable experience:
Music and amplified sounds will be reduced
Lighting will be lowered and flashing effects minimised
Visitor numbers will be limited to support a quieter atmosphere
No booking is required. Simply arrive at the event entrance opposite His Majesty’s Theatre from 10:00am to purchase your tickets and wristbands.
At 11:30am, the event will return to standard sound and lighting.
A dedicated relaxed area will also be available throughout all four days of Big Bounce for anyone who may need a quiet space during their visit.
The Big Bounce is our bounciest events of the year! However, these events are not just for fun. Every bounce helps Charlie House continue delivering vital support to babies, children, and young people with life-limiting or life-threatening conditions across North-east Scotland.

We're looking for enthusiastic individuals to make a significant difference to your local community by volunteering at Big Bounce 2024. Charlie House volunteers will bring the event to life and help the event be a massive success to the thousands of families that attend.
We would love to have your support at the event through welcoming visitors, selling wristbands and help staff and man bouncy castles, funfair stalls and steward the event. We will provide you with training a support throughout the entire process.
Plus, as official event volunteer, you will receive tickets to be used during the weekend to show our appreciation for incredible support. You will also receive a free coffee at ReCHarge Café to keep you going throughout the event!
We recommend attendees to use card payment when possible, however, cash will also be accepted.
Yes! Charlie House is hosting a dedicated Relaxed Session on Friday 8 August from 10:00am to 11:30am. This session is designed for families who may benefit from a quieter environment, including those with sensory sensitivities or additional support needs. Music and sound will be reduced, lighting lowered, and visitor numbers limited to create a calmer atmosphere. No booking is required – simply arrive at the main entrance from 10:00am to purchase your tickets and wristbands.
Entry to Big Bounce is via the Rosemount Viaduct entrance next to His Majesty’s Theatre, where you can also grab your tickets and All-Day Bounce Wristbands – please note the Union Street side is exit-only for safety.
Yes, visitors are welcome to bring their own picnic supplies. Seating areas will be available across the gardens. We kindly ask that you dispose of any rubbish responsibly. Please note that alcohol and barbecues are not permitted within the event space.
The Big Bounce is open to everyone and free to attend, with something for the whole family to enjoy. While all ages are welcome, the inflatables and attractions are primarily designed for children aged 3–12. Younger children may require supervision, with some activities may have height or age restrictions for safety.
There are a range of chargeable car parks close to The Big Bounce including Bon Accord Centre, Trinity Centre, and Denburn car park. Designated on-Street Blue Badge Parking can be found on Union Terrace. Please refer to the parking signs for information on parking restrictions.
Your wristband gives you unlimited access to all bouncy castles and includes 10 activity tickets to use across the day. Wristbands are valid only on the day of purchase and can’t be carried over to other days. Tickets can be used on both activities and bouncy castles. Please note that tickets cannot be used to purchase food or drink.

When visiting the ticket booth on any event day, let one of our team members know you registered along with your name to receive one free ticket.
Onsite toilets will be available. A changing space can be located close by at ReCHarge Café in the Bon Accord Centre and a changing place can be found in Aberdeen Art Gallery.
Relaxed sessions are quieter, closed sessions designed with accessibility in mind. These take place on Thursday and Friday mornings from 10:00am to 11:30am. Due to limited capacity, we’re unable to offer these sessions to the general public. Please speak to your services team at your local charitable or support organisation to find out if they are a partner.
Please note that The Big Bounce is an outdoor event, weather permitting. We recommend checking the weather forecast closer to the event date and following our Charlie House social media channels for any updates or changes. Safety is our top priority, so we may need to reschedule or adjust plans in case of inclement weather.
