The changing space conveniently located at Café Recharge on level one in the Bon Accord centre is available to anyone that requires the use of a changing plinth and hoist. Easily accessed to the rear of the café, staff will gladly direct you to its location. On entering via the sliding door, the changing plinth is height adjustable, and the charging Hoist is easily accessed around the whole area. There is sufficient space to move around for hoisting with one or two carers assisting.

The facility is open to anyone, whether you are using the café or not. Although this is not a registered Changing place due to there not being a wc facility there are public toilets located close by the café within the Bon Accord Shopping centre on the same level.

ReCHarge Café is a welcoming and comfortable space, where you can take time out from your day, relax and grab a bite to eat while supporting the work of Charlie House.

Due to its central location at Bon Accord Centre, Aberdeen’s City Centre, ReCHarge Café is an exceptional venue that offers flexible space for events such as formal and informal gatherings, conferences and workshops.

ReCHarge Café offers several hire options including evening hire for private parties and events for up to 40 guests.
