We are very fortunate to have a great team supporting the work of Charlie House.


Susan Crighton - Director of Fundraising
Susan is going to help make all our dreams come true. She hasn’t quite got a magic wand but instead has a great team of people and supporters all trying to make our visions a reality.


Lynn Batham - Corporate & Community Fundraiser
Lynn loves to get out and meet all the fabulous supporters of Charlie House, from Large Corporates to Church Guilds, Rotary Clubs to Schools. She helps to spread the word about how we support families right here in our local community.


Elin Styrbjorn - Activities Coordinator
Elin has the great job of organising all the fantastic activities that our families do at Charlie House. She spends a lot of time researching all the facilities for their suitability and accessibility. Elin also organises the Activity Short Break to Kielder Forest Park and attends to support the families whilst they are on their break.


Donna Deans - Fundraising Administrator
Donna supports all our fundraisers and donors. She makes sure we thank all of our supporters, keeps the office ticking over and checks that we have enough t-shirts in the cupboard. Donna also helps to organise our events and is always on hand to help out.


Kirsty Walker - Fundraising Administrator
Kirsty loves a spreadsheet, she helps keep our filing, accounts and data all up to date. Kirsty also checks in with all our fundraisers making sure they have all the tools they need for their fundraising efforts.
